We rented a house for 2 nights at recreation park Beekbergen. We had a deluxe cabin for 4 people (were 2 people). The cottage was neat, clean, tidy and just like the photos you see on the site of top parks. We had a good time. Check-in at the start of the park, spoke nicely and had clear explanations. We had (because it was Valentine's Day this weekend), booked a Valentine's package. I had to ask for the necessary explanation myself, but fine further. Beds were nice and everything was provided as agreed. Our house was within walking distance of the restaurant. Here we ordered and collected food the 1st evening. We had ordered 2 pizzas. It turned out that these were frozen pizzas (not the ones from the supermarket, but were 'good' pizzas). Here you pay € 10 per pizza. I think a bit much. When we also arrived at the agreed time to collect this, it was not ready yet because they had forgotten to turn on the oven (and it was quiet according to the employees). Strange though. Next evening we picked it up at a restaurant which was located near the park. The 1st morning, we had no running water because it had frozen a lot (-10 degrees). Since the reception is only open at 10.00 on weekends, we called the emergency number (you will receive this in a letter from the park). Neatly spoken to and we were also neatly helped with this .. Within 20 minutes someone was with us to help. Friendly staff. Problem was quickly resolved. You can take a lovely walk through the park and in the Veluwe woods near the park (on walking path). It was a pleasant stay. Valentine's package was also very well taken care of.

I thought it was a beautiful house, completely clean, modern and nothing wrong with that. Too bad they are all very close together. We were also right next to a kind of construction site, because the park had just bought that part. I always like to play table tennis or football or the like at the park, but there are no facilities for that here. There is a ping pong table, but there is no net on it. Then I went to the reception to indicate this, where I was kindly received. It was promised to be made, it did not happen. Still had a nice weekend.
