Totally confused after my husband's unexpected death, I had to leave the hospital and, most importantly, quickly arrange a funeral director. How!? My mind couldn't comprehend that my husband was dead and I needed to find someone to arrange the funeral? No time for conversations, quotes, seeing who clicks and who doesn't. No it must be faster than fast. One of the most important projects of your life ... Bizarre and unreal. After some phone calls with suggestions from friends, I was all set. Voice was not appealing, too vague, much too compelling, just annoying etc. Then I called Jens Niels on the advice of my niece. He was full but wanted to know a little more about me and my husband to see if he knew anyone. He did indeed call back to recommend Iede Hoorn. It sounded good over the phone and could be there in an hour. OK then. I opened the door, saw a wonderfully authentic man and knew we are going to do it together, with you I am safe and I can lose my egg. Iede was available every hour of the day. That is the advantage of a small company and a personal approach. We have come up with fantastic things together. Working together for hours to make this event a fantastic farewell. Very personal approach, out of the box ideas, easy switching, ready to hear a laugh and a tear. Super fast communication, early in the morning with new to do's and last in the evening texting photos to ask which outfit. My elderly mother had passed away unexpectedly in December 2020. I am the youngest child in the family. My older siblings took care of my parents. The way they looked after my parents no longer met my parents' expectations. So I had to take that care headlong. To my great surprise, my parents did not have funeral insurance. Because of the sudden death of my mother, I was taken by surprise and confronted with this; arrange the funeral. I did not have much time to manage the funeral. The pandemic makes it extra difficult. By coincidence I came across Iede Hoorn Uitvaartzorg through my eldest sister. I was looking for a funeral company with a Christian slant. The way in which Iede took care of the funeral is exceptional. Right from the first exploratory meeting there was a click: Iede felt exactly where the bottlenecks were. Ultimately, it is about the end result; funeral organized down to the last detail. This has worked out very well, partly on behalf of Iede. I am very grateful to everyone for that, also on behalf of my family

How nice it was to have everyone around us when arranging the funeral! At that moment you are so upset and then Iede takes the time to put everything in order and arrange for things to go exactly as you would like. He made me look at the "funeral world" with completely different eyes, what a relief this special man. My dear friend passed away on February 3, 2021 and we asked Iede to help us with the cremation. What a perfect choice that was. A sympathetic, cooperative and sympathetic man who thinks along about everything, thinks nothing is too crazy and listens carefully to wishes and ideas. Eede is a carer. We met in 2018 and the short lines of communication were very nice from the first moment. Unfortunately for us, we had to be relieved earlier than expected on 17 January 2021.
