My world collapsed almost a year ago. Shared joys and sorrows with my partner for 35 years, a seven-month disease process ended our swan dance in a swan song. There was no question of cure, cancer can be irrevocable. Directing the farewell together. But how? We approached the Ode funeral. With Nicole Capaan we worked out a beautiful funeral with her warmth and professionalism, all our wishes were addressed. Nicole provided stability and peace and made it possible. In this way I would like to thank the Ode, especially Nicole, for all her efforts and energy that made an unforgettable farewell possible. A place for eternal memory. Thanks for this.

Plots kom je als drie zussen in de chaos van zo’n moment terecht. Onze lieve moeder overleed. Nicole leidde ons langs allerlei opties en mogelijkheden waardoor we ons echt gezien voelden. Het was fijn dat we daardoor keuzes konden maken die bij ons alledrie apart, samen en onze moeder pasten. Tegelijkertijd werden er duizend-en-één praktische zaken schijnbaar moeiteloos geregeld. Het voelde enorm vertrouwd en warm. Dank Nicole voor alle aandacht voor ons, onze kinderen en onze lieve moeder. Dankzij de Ode en jou kijken we terug op een liefdevol en intiem afscheid.

My dear niece, soulmate and buddy passed away in May 2019, she was cared for with great care and love by Ode Uitvaartbegeleiding and her funeral was supervised with great care. We are very happy and proud. With Mette's input, warmth, personality and attention, we as a family have been able to make a wonderful personal farewell in honor of our father and husband. Mette made sure that our wishes came into their own. We also managed to bridge the gap between family in Suriname and the Netherlands, because people could watch online. Also very important in this covid-19 era. Mette advised Zorgvlied and that is exactly what suits our funeral. In addition, Mette has applied many details where we have not yet seen them and she has managed to create a warm and loving atmosphere. Exactly the musical party that suits our father. There was still plenty of time to find a nice and correctly sized box. ” > It remains for me to mention that Mrs. Capaan wanted to put the box in another room, where all kinds of chairs were stored, because the space was needed for someone else. Mrs. did not collect my registered letter at the post office, there is never anyone at her address, it is only for correspondence and who knows what for.
