Interesting for adults and children alike. The volunteer re-enacters on the "Compascuumer" days made it even more entertaining.
Beautiful and very interesting place to see and learn what happen in the past with this famous Veen and how the history describes it and evidence it with the most lovely and sweet way with Red books, two treins and more & more. The crew so helpful! Everybody should go! 🥰♥️🥰
Very nice place displaying the history of peat workers and their living conditions. One of the biggest open air museums in the Netherlands.
Beautifull historical museum with a great variety, worthwhile visiting.
A museum of houses, waterways and the history of peat. All a bit dilapidated, could do with an update. No explanation of the machinery in the potato factory for instance.
