June 16, my father-in-law was cremated in the funeral home De Ommering in Spijkenisse. Upon entering we were escorted as a family to the family room, the visitors were received in the waiting area. The service would start at 3:30 PM. Fifteen minutes before the visit to say goodbye, and three quarters of an hour before the service. . At 4 pm we were still waiting in the family room. A co-worker came to inform us that there was a malfunction with the computer. Due to the interference, not all music was heard. The funeral director delivered the music two days before the service, checked it and that. There can never be such a disturbance just before a funeral, the service revolves around the music and images. In this way, the deceased is commemorated. Situations like this happen because the music has not been tested and the music installation is not good. The staff walk in and out while the deceased is lying in state in the auditorium. That the music echoes through an emergency box. That we as a family spend more than half an hour in the waiting room, literally and figuratively. That the next visit for the service came after us. That it is indeed the equipment because the service did not get any images on the screen after us, again a malfunction. I have made an official complaint and will not leave it at this. Oh yeah we get the Ommer's consumption for the long wait. What a disrespectful gesture. It is a situation that could have been avoided precisely because a service with music and images commemorates the deceased.

What terribly old bad sagging chairs, yes those red chairs in the big room. And what is the entrance viesssssss. Take a look up at the entrance. All very unpleasant.

Neat crematorium, good parking, nice place, neat rooms, good guidance, good coffee.
