Privacy issues...

Due to a national shortage of certain raw materials for medication, this medication is sometimes not available for months at Pharmacy De Schouw. De Schouw's purchasing policy is such that no stock is built up. Which is the case at other pharmacies. It just depends on which assistant helps you. With one, the recipe can be changed without any problems, to a different brand name. You will then receive the same medication, just a different name. This is impossible with the other assistant. It is also proposed to switch to other medication if certain medication is not available. This proposal was immediately dismissed by my doctor. The employees claimed that it was not possible to get the right medication at another pharmacy because of the national shortage. My GP arranged with 1 phone call that I could pick up my prescription at another pharmacy. A pharmacy that had built up a stock. In my opinion, therefore, not only thinks about money, but also about the patient. The only positive thing about the Schouw is the take-away machine.

They are there with 6 staff, and that is what it said. All that happens is chatting behind the counter and looking at a screen with a hundred eyes. I just stood here for half an hour and only 2 people were helped during that time. And again I don't have my medicine. Less dicks and more action please.

There is always a lot of staff around, but only 1 or 2 counters are used. Long waiting times.
