Nice remnants of what once was a fortification to attack enemy ships sailing to Antwerp. A pity that there isn't much to be seen from the walk way, you really have to get in to see something.
Not sure when it's open to public.
But the location has some spectacular views over the westerschelde, and the beauty of Ellewouts dijk.
A small community with lot's of authentic elements in the streets, the houses, layout, etc. Lot's of history there.
A very nice place with some historic lessons.
Prime example of Dutch coastal defense fort. Well preserved and open during summer time.
