This Veenplas is NOT a swimming location. This is a small lake in nature, but DOES with a beautiful vantage point (this map location). If you want to swim, search for "Henschotermeer", which is approximately 500 meters from here. You can sit at this viewpoint (at a higher point) and look out over the Veenplas with heather and forest around it. This is really a very nice point, easy to access and if you are quiet you will see many animals and birds here. Within 15 minutes (if you are quiet) you can see deer. Do not leave any waste here, such as cans, paper or plastic. Because that is harmful to animals and to nature. This point is FREE (free) accessible on horseback or on foot (not by car). In short: 5 stars for this location.

This lake is located on the Treek estate. Nice and very quiet walk on Thursday.
