En dan is daar de dag...we moeten het afscheid gaan regelen van onze lieve moeder en vrouw. Een vrouw die nog midden in het leven stond en nog lang niet klaar was om ons te verlaten. Het moest dus een afscheid worden anders dan anders ook al hadden we te maken met de regels van Corona. Pascalle van Persoonlijk Afscheid vonden wij hier de aangewezen persoon voor. De liefde en aandacht die ze ons gaf in deze ongelooflijk moeilijke tijd maar zeker ook het meedenken en ons vaak al 2 stappen voor zijn in onze gedachten gaf ons zo’n rustig gevoel dat zelfs deze week van heel veel verdriet ook een mooie week is geweest met veel mooie herinneringen. De dag van afscheid was er één met een gouden randje zoals onze moeder en vrouw meer dan verdienden. Mede dankzij Pascalle hebben we dit mogelijk kunnen maken. Lieve Pascalle dankjewel en je hebt voor altijd een speciaal plekje in ons hartje.

Get to know Pascalle in January. After the first introductory meeting, there was immediately a warm click. The guidance and conversations were very personal and attentive. Everything was arranged down to the last detail and Pascalle was fully involved. She certainly also showed us a completely different side of funerals. They do not have to be dull and gray, but can be completely customized, loving and personal. Pascalle, thank you for your fine and professional guidance.

Based on the Personal Farewell website, I suggested to the family to make contact the next day. My father died that night. As a result, the acquaintance immediately became a first meeting and fortunately there was a click. We will not forget the warm attention, the involvement and the efforts of Chantell to make something beautiful of the funeral in consultation with us. The location in Baarn in the forest suited well: my father loved being outside in nature. It may sound crazy, but this way saying goodbye to my father became a small party. Chantell and all the people in front and behind the scenes: thank you very much!

We are full of praise for the way in which Chantell and Pascalle took care of the preparation and the funeral under difficult circumstances (Corona). Chantell for the preparations and aftercare and Pascalle for the funeral services. We have both experienced as open and compassionate persons, very empathetic, they listened carefully to our wishes and fulfilled them. Truly "customization". Until, during and after the cremation she sympathized intensely. With their personal, loving guidance she managed to create a family atmosphere. Through all this, PersonalFarewell clearly distinguishes itself from the usually formal, cold funerals.

After more than half a century together, I had to say goodbye to my dear husband. We saw it coming, we knew it was going to happen. My husband and I were looking for someone to think along with us, to guide us, not some sort of detached, impersonal handling of this last hugely important event in a human life. From our first contact with Personal Farewell and our first meeting with Chantell, I felt that it was all right, that we had somehow reached exactly the person that was needed. The pain, the sadness and the suddenly empty chair have demanded all my attention. Impossible to think clearly, to plan and to organize. Fortunately, Chantell and her colleagues were there to take on that task. And they didn't just do that. The way in which Chantell with my husband, with me and with our children has eased this difficult moment for us has made a deep impression on us all. Her sincere attention and care down to the smallest detail indicates that she does this with her heart, that it is real. Everything went perfectly, from our daily contact in the run-up to the farewell, the choice of the perfect location, the ceremony itself, the aftercare.
