This is a great spot on the island to go and take a hike, or to take photographs. I really recommend taking a hike here.

Beautiful area. Much of the same, dunes and hills with heather, but it is precisely this vastness that is very special. There are several hiking trails, but we have walked the 3km route. With a buggy that is more than enough, because the path is not very suitable for that.

A 'must go' when you are on Texel. Special landscape, with extensive hiking trails. Wild horses and cattle and the frog pools make a walk in this area more than worthwhile.
