Muto Bike

Muto advertised to have a Black Friday discount. They now revealed the discount, and it's the exact same price as it was three weeks ago. They just pretend that it used to be more expensive. I have been considering the bike for a while and am very disappointed with this fake discount. Edit: after black Friday, they kept the same 'discounted' price for the rest of the year. Now in the new year, they have raised the price, but advertise it as a 'discount' versus the even higher 'official' price. So effectively, they keep raising the price but advertise it as a discount when they do.

Erg prettig rijdende en goedogende fiets die behoorlijk wat bagage kan meenemen (met de juiste accessoires) en met goede robuuste onderdelen: Shimano Nexus met 8 versnellingen, Gates carbon drive aandrijfriem, Shimano hydraulische schijfremmen. Door deze onderdelen is het onderhoud vrij eenvoudig, dit in tegenstelling tot sommige andere fietsenmerken. Ik gebruik hem voor woon- werk verkeer (ca. 18km enkele reis) en laad de accu altijd weer op na deze rit. Dit is ook nodig als je de accu op de hoogte stand zet tijdens de gehele rit. Dit is gelijk het "nadeel" van deze fiets, maar gelijk een voordeel. Door de kleine accu (laag gewicht) en het type motor kan je ook prima fietsen zonder ondersteuning! Het smalle stuur zie ik als een voordeel: in het drukke stadsverkeer is het handig niet te breed te zijn als er weinig ruimte is op de weg. Kortom prima fiets voor een stedelijke omgeving. De prijs van de muto wordt helaas stilletjes verhoogd, ze doen alsof het een aanbieding is, maar dat is helaas een vervelende marketing strategie.

Very nice bike, really a city model for short (er) distances. Cycles well and smoothly. Very satisfied in terms of product. The only downside is the aftercare user manual was not very clear and therefore not easy to assemble quickly. I don't know if it was one of the options, but I would have liked to have the bike delivered completely bike ready. In addition, I have not received a message that the bicycle would be delivered. And the child seat is not great in terms of quality, a bit weak material and also smaller than expected. A lot less than, for example, a yepp chair. And it would have been nice to have correct instructions for the highchair too.

Great bike. Bought 2 after a test drive. Everything is fine, some points for improvement are: - Small handlebar - No suspension, you flip up and down on a cobblestone street. - range of the battery is disappointing. - the round shape of the battery without handle, a matter of time before you slide the battery out of your hands or roll it off the table. Iig already happens :-(

Nice bike, fast delivery, good manual and service. Great bike for living and work. Competitive price for a bicycle, belt drive, hydraulic brake discs and electric front wheel drive. Minus point the limited battery capacity.
