Warung Spang Makandra Centrun

This may be the best restaurant we’ve been to in Amsterdam. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. It takes a while to prepare but you can tell it hasn’t just been microwaved. The flavors are fantastic and they have many options. The owner and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We absolutely loved the place although it is a bit cramped. Very very happy we found it. When we stumbled in here, we had just had a disappointing but large dinner but one person in our party wanted something with rice and that was heavy so we stopped in. We ended up getting takeaway orders to eat later because we all liked it so much. There needs to be more places like this in the city.
