Hunebed D18 is one of the best known burial monuments of the funnel beaker people, built some 5000 years BC from huge glacial rocks. It is very regularly shaped and as such a text book example also used a lot in text books. It is very close to the modern day graveyard of the Jacobuschurch.

Great place for some rest, a picknick and to see the most ancient monuments of the Netherlands.
This is the largest of two hunebedden where a recent cemetery was installed. It is also one of the best shaped Hunebed.
May all visitors respect a burial site for our ancestors.
