Losing a pet is terrible, it comes with so much grief. The lovely owners of Anubis fully understood this, they were very understanding from the first contact on the phone. Once arrived at Anubis, sweet Olaf (beautiful Golden Retriever) was already waiting, he took away a lot of tension because I could cuddle him for a while. The real farewell to Anubis was fierce, but there was also every understanding for that. While going through all the papers and sorting out an urn, there was thought and room for what I wanted to say about my beloved pet. When I was able to collect the ashes, a very nice place was made for the “keep safe” urns and a light was lit with my pet's name on it. At that point, you really realize it's the little things that matter. This time too Olaf was there to pet and his presence immediately made the atmosphere less charged. It is very clear to me that the owners are people with a heart of gold, who do this work for the love of animals. If there comes a time when you unfortunately have to say goodbye to your beloved pet, then you are really at your place with Anubis.

I can only be more than positive about what Desiree and Heiko have been able to do for us in parting with our beloved cat. The warm contact, the time and attention, and above all the loving and understanding interaction with our cat and with us. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way: they provide a valuable farewell to the last detail. A golden place!

My contact with animal funeral home Anubis was very pleasant and went according to plan. I have nothing but praise for how caring and compassionate Heiko and Desiree have been towards me. They drove from Almere to Amsterdam around 20:00 to pick up my deceased cat. Even in the evening they were ready and gave me all the time and space to tell my story and to say goodbye. I appreciated that a lot. The couple has also shown warm interest and understanding every time in the further course of our contact. I think they are very nice and warm people and I am happy that I chose this funeral home. What has a lot of added value for me is that in addition to the urn, I also received a tear bottle with a tuft of fur from my four-legged friend. Furthermore, I could optionally choose from many other options to incorporate the ashes, such as jewelry, and other memorial objects to honor my pet. Thank you Heiko and Desiree for all your help, support and commitment! You are human treasures! Based on my experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend the animal funeral center Anubis.

Thank you Heiko and Desiree for all the good and loving care after the death of my cat Pip. At first I planned to give a final resting place via another crematorium pip, but because it didn't give me a good feeling, I started looking further. I ended up with Anubis and despite it was a Sunday afternoon we were able to come quickly. All the positive reviews I read about them were all rightly written. The love they give in their work is reflected in the smallest details.

These 2 people from this company are profiteers of other people's grief for the loss of their pet. As it turns out, if you have your pet cremated and you later take the ashes home with you, it's not your pet's ashes but their fireplace. This fireplace is located in their company's living room, and this living room has the goal of allowing you to say goodbye to your pet in a peaceful environment. We also found wood residues when scattering the ashes of our beloved pet. Upon inquiry at various authorities, this turns out to be wood residues and ashes from a fireplace. Of course we reported this to this company and their reaction was very cold-blooded. You are mistaken and if it is true it accidentally ended up in your urn and so on and so on. An acquaintance we spoke to later also appeared to have had doubts about the ashes of their pet. They also reported these doubts to this company and were sent away with a ball in the reeds. Their response was your emotions are now too strong to respond properly. You exaggerate and so on and so on. She and we are very sad because we do not know what has happened to the bodies of our beloved pets. People be warned this company is benefiting financially and emotionally from your grief. We gave them several times the opportunity to convince us otherwise, but each time they came up with a different excuse. By giving this bad review, we hope that we can prevent this suffering from other customers who think they will take home their ashes from their beloved pet. We are aware that they will try in many ways to deny this review but we see no other way to share our sad experience.
