Noordermarkt

Nice outdoor market nestled between an old church and the canal. The market has a fair variety of stalls selling antiques, books, clothes, and food. There are a lot of stalls selling impressive selections of cheese (often with free samples!) as well as a lot of bakery stalls selling impressive loaves, cakes, and pastries. When visiting check out the Lindengracht market just around the corner, it is very close and offers even more stalls. Word of warning, the market is fairly cramped but incredibly popular, so do arrive early if you want to enjoy it without the queues and crowds.

Noordermarkt is my favorite open air market to go to. It has a nice selection of food, antiques, and clothes. The produce is fresh, nice quality; and I love that a couple of the stands have vegan options for baked goods! I always love looking around here. It does get busy and prices may be slightly high but it’s worth it :)

Really nice bio/ organic market lots of options for everybody. After ten a cue can be expected!
