Talk about being slow! Not worth your time , went to another place across the canal!

Horrible apothecary! I always have to wait in line for about 30 minutes while there are hardly any other customers. The staff is incredibly slow, it somehow takes them ages to retrieve medicine. Also, when you order your medicine online, you will not be notified if the medicine can't be delivered. I had to wait for weeks and pop in at the apothecary every few days just to check if they happened to have the medicine. And stay without medication during those weeks, sometimes even months. I can't understand why it's so difficult to inform people on the status of delivery, I have complained about it to the staff but they just stare at you as if you're speaking Chinese. Stay away if you can.

Awful system, you have to get a number and wait long times even though it's never packed. It's not clear enough that you have to take a number which can lead to old people thinking you're trying to cut the line. It seems old people like to chill there as if it were a club, they think they own the place. The employees are somewhat friendly but they take AGES to get a simple medicine. Crazy.

Do not register at this pharmacy. Long wait times (I've waited 45mins to an hour on multiple occasions) and once it's your turn, it takes them at least 10 minutes just to retrieve the medication. After these frustrating experiences, I opted for their delivery service. Note: after you've opted for the delivery of your medication, you can't pick it up from the pharmacy anymore because it's already in the delivery car. This service was fine for the most part, same day or next day delivery usually worked...until I was prescribed another medication. It has been 5 days since the prescription for my 1st re-fill arrived at Apotheek De Volharding and I have NOT received anything yet. I called their hotline on THREE separate days to track down my delivery, just to receive three different excuses and three promises that it would be delivered later on in the day. This is an important medication that I should not be stopping suddenly, but now I will be without it for another 2 days because of the weekend. Simply unacceptable and I will be switching pharmacies immediately.
