Beautiful estate that has limited access. We were able to enter there after an appointment with a group. (Admission was € 5, including a cup of coffee or tea) It is a nice walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the Huis in Linschoten, which is rather hidden away. Because of the storm, the guides decided that it was too dangerous to enter the park. That that was not a superfluous measure turned out afterwards because in the time that we visited the park a cyclist died in the neighborhood because of a fallen tree. We were allowed i.v.m. visit the mansion itself during the storm, which is normally not allowed. It is a beautifully maintained country house with a lot to tell about. We will definitely go back again to visit the park and gardens.

3 stars. And I don't give that low often. But that is because I cannot place more than a photo that almost everyone takes. Through a gate from which you can see a small part of the castle far away. And that is a shame that you are not allowed to see it anymore. This is cultural heritage. That should in any case be viewed from the outside for people. More than just a closed gate. For your information: a little further on the national road is a parking space for approximately 30 cars. You can't get on with a camper, parking is too narrow. From there it is a fifteen minute walk to the closed gate of the castle. There is a walking / cycling path around the castle. Think walking it is about 45 minutes. But you can also see nothing of the castle during this walking route. On google it says that it is open at opening times, but that is incorrect.

Quiet and rural environment if the wind is favorable otherwise you can hear the highway at some points. The house itself and the woods around it can only be visited with a guide on some days in spring and summer.

Beautiful place, the estate can be visited and circular walks in the Parkbos are possible. The House can also be visited occasionally; the concerts in the spring and autumn. Look for information on the website of the Estate.
