I would highly recommend Uitvaartbegeleiding Merel Westermann. Our family is not from the Netherlands, and we don’t speak the language. Uitvaartbegeleiding Merel Westermann made the process as easy as possible. They took our ideas and turned them into a beautiful service that perfectly matched what our loved one would have wanted. After the funeral, we received many comments about the uniqueness and detail of the ceremony. I appreciate their ability to work with us and would highly recommend the company to others.

We considered Jolien's guidance to be very valuable. Her approach is practical, full of creativity and empathy. But we are also grateful to her for the lighter moments and her humor. She always knew how to set the right tone and together with us she organized a friendly and impressive funeral and memorial for our sister.

My brother-in-law dies. I'll call the funeral home. “Hello Rein” That in itself is not a good sign. The fact is that we have spoken too often in the past 15 years, but it immediately feels very familiar. Dying is a given. How you and your environment deal with this is very different. If you then find people who immediately adapt to the fact that with us, for example, formal family ties do not exist and we set up the funeral together, where (in this case) Jolien seems to be part of that large family, it makes farewell less formal, but with all the respect, certainly more bearable. In the past 15 years, the times when personal contribution predominated at a funeral have stayed with me; other funerals are a gray matter. We, family, friends and Jolien together, gave Olivier his farewell. For that, (unfortunately) again, many thanks and a big hug.
