I travelled far to come to this store as I heard they had done very well in a national competition. I wanted the best shoe repair in Amsterdam and they seemed to be the place to go. My wife had scuffed the heel of a €900 pair of boots and she wanted an excellent repair. I was told they would be ready the next day. I went back on the fourth day and they had not started the repair. They offered to complete the work if I would wait 30 minutes. The repair was not expensive, but considering the price of the boots I would have paid a lot more for a good repair. I am not happy with the result. They wrapped a plastic protector around the heel which is not transparent on one of the boots so you can see the repair. It was rushed work, not craftsmanship, not careful and not representative of the value in the boots.
Shoemaker communicates very clearly. My ankle boots look almost like new how it restored the heel ... very durable. And ready the same day! Top!
Professional and fast, very friendly service. No numbers for collection, just remember the old-fashioned and trust.
