Lovely campsite with, on the right camping spot, a lovely view. Clean and nice toilets and showers. All warm water is free because they are environmentally moving forward towards a sustainable campsite with commercial growth. Very nice to see. A local bakery provides freshly baked products and you can buy ice cream o n site. Arrangements are that you can choose freely where to stand with your tent/ camper etc. Interesting because you are not bound to fixed spots. We liked it and would definitely go again!

You can find your own place, nice people and the children can play in the stable and the playground. In summer there are unfortunately many wasps because of the fruit trees, but they try to do something about it.

For the 2nd time to this campsite, relaxed policy you can arrive at 7 am and leave at 11 pm, choose one spot yourself. Several fields with fruit trees and beautiful views, restaurant at the beginning of the road. Supermarket in Epen, beautiful walking and cycling area. Modern sanitary facilities (unfortunately spray shower for 2 years, jet fans out) neatly clean and free (unsafe) wifi. Next year for sure.

Very friendly reception. We were allowed to choose a spot ourselves. Received an email immediately when we entered our place with all kinds of information: about corona measures, tourist information about the area, wifi info, which is free. Very pleasant mail. Nice big places. And super modern and clean bathrooms. I do not recognize the previous reviews: there are soap dispensers and disinfectant bottles everywhere with an eye for corona. Toilets and showers alternately closed for the safe distance. There are referral / measure signs with re. to corona. We felt safe and well informed, even a room with washing machines, ironing board / iron. And there is a common sitting area with a terrace. Nice restaurant with terrace around the corner, and the village of Epen at a 10-minute walk. In short, a fantastic campsite for us to unwind with a beautiful panoramic view over the beautiful Limburg hilly landscape. So highly recommended.

Great campsite for a very good price. Booked online two days in advance and you no longer have to go to the reception but can choose a place immediately upon arrival. In our case on the tent meadow where there was still quite a bit of space, the places for caravans etc. were well occupied. Sanitary very solid, fairly modern, beautifully clean and more than adequate. On warm days, they might be able to use some extra trees for shade, but that seems even more the case at other campsites in the area. Very nice hiking in the area and even delicious local wines. No fixed check-out time, so although we had already cleaned up the tent in the morning, we could still take a shower in the evening. Fine restaurant Gerardushoeve a few meters from the campsite.
