Hoogenboezem Rotterdam

Good showroom, but, unfortunately, very unfriendly staff. We went to this shop Saturday evening. Sales representative has informed us, that they are closing soon and allowed us to have a quick look around. A minute later another sales representative told us if we don't leave now, he will call the security... That was more than unexpected. We left the showroom at 17:32. Unfortunately I'm not recommending this showroom.

I highly recommend Hoogenboezem Rotterdam. I have purchased twice so far at the same shop and both times the staff was very helpful. I really appreciated the guidance and help especially regarding the customization of certain elements which made it possible to not only have a nice design but also to be exactly what I was looking for in terms of size and other details. In addition to that there were no issues with the delivery and assembly and on a side note I am very grateful that the boxes and packaging were taken by the colleagues who made the delivery. I will definitely return when suitable :)

I would rate even lower if I had a choice. The delivery planning lady Monica ( if it is her real name) and drivers are total disasters. Disrespectful , untruthful and unreasonable to their clients. I am so shock that a company could still do their business with such kind of client-facing employees. Don't recommend it. Bad company..... We have informed them the sofa will be placed on 1st floor 5 weeks before so they should came with preparation. 2 Drivers told us it was too heavy for 2 to carry and will come back with 4. But they told this lady something totally different that it was too big to carry. So this lady wanted to charge us extra 80 euros for 4 delivery guys from the garden which it is not a problem if you are polite. But this lady is extremely rude and interrupted/stopped me several times and refused to speak English (her English is very good as we spoke in it at the beginning) to me saying it is in NL so I am sorry if you don't understand. If you want to talk, speak Dutch then.It is not about money, but the attitude and manner representing as a company. Why don't you put it in your shop that "only welcome Dutch speaking customers "?

The first possible delivery time is almost 3 weeks (!) After Hoogenboezem already has the bank in its own warehouse. Maybe it is time to invest in some extra delivery capacity. If Coolblue can deliver a refrigerator within a day, it must be faster than three weeks?
