A shopping mall that had everything you need. From clothing stores, jewelry, restaurants, bakery, convenience stores, beauty salons, opticians, souvenirs, supermarkets and your well known franchise fast food places. The mall has several entry's/exits. A public toilet is available, there is a small fee but it's cleaned throughout the whole day. Next to the mall there is the IKAZIA hospital, a police station, the bank, a metro station and bus station HUB. Combined with the underground parking lot, the transport methods are almost endless. The mall is located next to AHOY and close to a park. Making it a good spot for daily trips. Zuidplein has places to rest, some children activities from time to time and is accessible by wheelchair. Making the mall friendly for elderly, children or handicapped people. Zuidplein is generally clean and in case of accidents I've seen emergency service arrive fast. Well what does Zuidplein miss? The opening hours could be better on Sundays and/or be open later in the evening. Furthermore a nice addition would be a game hall, escape room or an entertainment company. It would complete the picture of having a family trip or day out with friends.

Social distancing is keeping people away. Shopping centres were always a good place to meet, talk and relax. Now it's a place to walk around alone, meeting no-one and feeling stressed out about who might be watching you not wearing your mask correctly

Pretty busy for my taste. Even with all the corona social distancing. There is lines on the floor and borders to help people stay on the right side, to aid with the 1.5m rule. Unfortunately not everyone follows this... Therefore 3 stars.

The shops open pretty late. There's a lot of choice

Pleasantly surprised. ^^ I needed to attend a meeting in Rotterdam Zuid, and strolled past a couple of shops with better stock/selection than locations in other cities.
