We cremated our daughter in domstede dela.. they offer good service and we received her urn in a box that sealed properly so we can take her back home (fly to another country). They also prepared the cremation certificate in English and Dutch.

Had two cremations here. In the first, the man running the cremation had my grandfather's name wrong, and in the second, the employees were very rude to us. My uncle had briefly gone out to get some air and was then not allowed in again, it had not been said beforehand that you could not go outside. My grandmother was very humanistic, activist and a little hippie-like and her cremation was that atmosphere where we were clearly very much judged about what was expressed and looks and comments. I think it might be a lot more shocking for a more normal family. However, the location was beautiful, the space well cared for and the food tasty, although they did not indicate what was vegetarian, which is impractical for our family. Also everything went smoothly with the guests in, etc. I liked how she put the flowers outside afterwards. There were positives but it was clearly not good enough for something as important as a crematorium.

A beautiful location, beautiful well-kept auditorium. Despite all the limitations surrounding Corona and the pressure that it puts on the staff, we experienced a great service. Not once during the short visit options and the ceremony did I feel a sense of pressure. Thank you very much Domstede employees. We were able to say goodbye to my wife / mother in a respectful way. You are TOP !!!

One of the employees felt it was necessary to address us firmly to the fact that we had brought our own liquor as if we were smuggling liquor into a cinema - it was 'only' a tribute to the deceased. Also at the last minute while 3/4 of the guests had already left, a bowl of frying was rushed through after which 3 minutes later someone came to say that the after-dinner drink would be finished. Embarrassing and clear where the motivation lies.

It is one beautiful location. Respect and very respectful in the sad. Acoustics and image and sound perfect. A place where you feel warmth for thinking of the deceased. Thanks❤👍🏻
