A simple rural environment with many hiking trails and grass paths. With cows and horses and many small polder animals. You can't get more Dutch ....

Overheicop, a nice and quiet elongated neighborhood at Schoonrewoerd '. If you come from the direction Leerdam in Schoonrewoerd then it is already the first road left and then through the tunnel and you are in the hamlet in the heart of the region and municipality of Vijfheerenlanden. Overheicop is located on the water of the Huibert, where at the end stands the Hoekmolen which stretches the water of the Huibert as it is called on the Merwedekanaal. A walk along the Huibert on the Huibert quay is highly recommended and then back on the nearby cycle path. You have to leave Overheicop on the same road again, the buurtschsp is situated on a "dead end" road, but that makes it nice and quiet.
