The Story of Edam Cheese

Very nice museum! A combination of history, current facts and interaction. The visitors can answer questions halfway through the museum and can also milk a cow :). Definitely recommended when in Edam. Next to the museum, you can visit a Henri Willig shop, where you can taste and buy various cheeses and related products.

The history of Edam cheese is shown here. Supported by films, pictures and historical objects. Cheese can be tasted and bought in the adjacent shop. Entry 8 €.

Recommendable. Very interesting, clear, small museum (admission 8.00 EUR for adults) with audio guide also in German. The visit was worth it for us😉

Interesting museum about the history of the Edam in Amsterdam. There is currently an audio guide in German, English and Dutch. You can learn something about the history of the origins and production of the Edamer. There is a quiz and you can milk a cow and try to get the digital milk bucket full.
