Lived here whole my life celibate. It was hard, but I managed. I hope God is happy what I did for him

Saint Clement's Church was built in 1871 to a design by Carl Weber. She replaced the barn church, which was located approximately in the same place. The three-aisled brick cross basilica is built in a traditionalist, eclectic style with elements of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The 60 meter high west tower has five sections, the top section of which has an octagonal shape and is topped by an also octagonal spire. The tower contains the Mary clock, cast in 1490 by Jan van Venlo. It weighs 1420 kg and comes from the old Clemenskerk, the remains of which were demolished in 1886. In 1910 chapels and a sacristy were built, which were designed by Jan Stuyt. Between 1960 and 1970, the interior was adapted to the ideas of the time, and around the change from the 20th to the 21st century, the church was restored and the interior was again adapted and repainted in the original colors. The statues of saints were also polychromed at the time. The church furniture mainly contains objects and images from the last decades of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The church houses a Smits organ from 1882. To the left of the church is the entrance to the cemetery, and to the right of the church is the presbytery from 1910.

If all parishes had such a pastor, the churches were full again.
