On arrival at Berkendonk we were standing in front of a closed door for a cremation together with a number of relatives of the deceased. We were a few minutes late due to traffic delays. We have knocked on all doors and windows to be able to enter. There was no bell. After a quarter of an hour someone walked by who we could reach by knocking us. It was opened and we were allowed to walk around the building to enter. No apology or a sorry. Largest part of the cremation missed. Absolutely worthless!

After a few hours of driving and being in a traffic jam, we arrived at the Berkendonk. Still in time for the funeral, fortunately. But. The ladies' toilets were all clogged, so using the toilet did not work. And there was not even a glass of water for people who came from far away. We understand when the family does not have the budget to make coffee for the guests. But that the crematorium itself is not able to put water and glass for the guests, is below all standards. Little effort, costs nothing, would be a very appreciated service. And also after the service: there is not even a sip of water available for guests.
