I try to only bring my bike here, even if its considerably further. The man who works here is honest and good. He never tries to up-sell or add extra repairs. He does a great job with my bike, and always at a better price than anywhere else.

Friendly and professional service. Is also having a whole lot of parts in stock for older types of sports and racing bikes, which you can hardly find elsewhere. I can recommend this shop to everyone.

Old-fashioned expertise that, in line with the word bicycle repair, is actually aimed at MAKING bicycles instead of replacing parts as standard with new. Also no unpleasant surprises by "saddling" customers with unsolicited (alleged) repairs.

Piet Aandewiel made a custom road bike for me in 1974. I've ridden races there for 15 years, and the bike is still in good condition and ready to ride. If the service is still as it was then, this is the best bike shop in Amsterdam.
