A small idyll, surrounded by fields. We were there 10 years ago and would love to come back again. The bike tour description to Amsterdam and Haarlem is just great and described by the landlady so well that nothing can go wrong. Above all, it's nice that there are only a few parking spaces. We felt in good hands there.
This is the place to be for onions, potatoes and flour.
Top place near the center, nice experience.
I do not understand the negative reactions. We were welcomed by a friendly lady and were able to park our camper on paved surfaces with a beautiful view. Water and electricity are available and included in the price. Admittedly, the motorhome is located behind a farm and those who are after luxury may be disappointed.
We like to stand on this small campsite. Small and calm. Airplanes are a bit annoying in the daytime, but it is very quiet at night. Those who come by bike to experience Amsterdam will have no problem with the planes. The owner is an authentic older lady, who of course has set up rules of the game (arrival and departure times). She is a kind person.
In other words: "As you call into the forest, it sounds out".
