It's amazing to have a lake in the city..... But my opinion is that they could have done much more spectacular stuff around it. Uplift a bit more. . Except for the swimming pool part. About the beach/strand they just put some sand.... And it's like be happy with it... The Gemeente Amsterdam should have done more about the landscape such as put some trees, why not Palm trees on the beach,. Some extra street workout , the one on the other side is definitely not enough. Some parts of the promenade is very bla, sad and cold feeling...

Amazing lake and park surrounding it. Great for walks, runs and swims.

A great place to cycle around especially on a sunny day. Loved the scenic places to sit. Great place to visit on the western side of Amsterdam.
