Haarlemmerplein

I know it's a good market because we sell our Kimchi, water kefir and healthy probiotic rich fermented foods there. Several very good market sellers including quality fish, meats, cheese, olive oils and more. FermentFabriek is there each Wednesday.

A lovely square with fountain, seating both next to the fountain and some covered by 3 large trees surrounded by shops, cafes and some terraces, and of course a view over the Haarlemmer Poort (the Western gate). There's a water refill point as well on the other side of the bike lanes. A bio market is held every Wednesdays. G Spacious enough to get away from the crowds en route to the Wester Park... #Seantheharp and I enjoyed playing next to the fountain on a warm afternoon at the end of July, little children running through the patterns of water spouting while those in the shade chatted, waited for shoppers or were having lunch... There ensued toddler dancing and of course, we got offered cake... We'll, it was a doughnut but close enough to remind us that life is a good place to be... We look forward to playing here again before the summer is over... The Aquare is right at the beginning of the Haarlemmerdijk where some of the coffee is excellent and shopping (if you're into that kinda thing) it's quirky and hip...

We went to this square because of the weekly market where we tasted excellent local cheeses and bought a good quantity of organic origin. All the shopkeepers of the stalls were very kind, helpful and not persistent. I would certainly go back.

When the weather is dry, I sit there with a number of homeless people who do not have a daytime activity. I will then speak to them. Unfortunately, the sun often abandons us and it is fresh.
