A beautiful and historic place located in the heart of Groningen where many events such as carnival, exhibitions, ceremony and ice-skating take place. It is also nearby to the Martini Tower and Vismarkt (farmers market). With a perfect surrounding, it is a great place to take pictures, especially in the summer.

Groningen is always worth a visit. I have a lasting memory of my first visit to this city. I was with a friend on the trip from Kiel to Brussels for the world exhibition at that time. But because we wanted to save our little money on entry to the exhibition, we slept in a park on the bench in the middle of the city and felt very safe. Would that still be possible today?
