Beautiful park, great for walks and hikes. There are two 15 km public mountainbike trails.
Lovely walk with the dog the wet noses route. She could release large pieces (stays neat with us). Route well signposted. Well worth it.

Beautiful nature reserve on the border of Friesland and Drenthe. Varied forests, dunes, heather and fens. Beautiful walking and cycling paths. All well signposted. Easily accessible and sufficient parking spaces. Highly recommended for one or more days.
We still have to do the family path, but unfortunately start with grandma very wheelchair-unfriendly!
