When the box came to the counter it was not the normal packaging and I asked why and whether these were the right pills. It turned out to be a remedy for nausea that was never collected because it was not necessary. So it was clear that I only looked at my husband's name and not at the prescribed recipe. After a "sorry" I got the right medication. Since a few weeks my husband has also had to take blood thinners with the doctor's prescription from the hospital first 2x 15 mg. per day and then 1x 20 mg. per day. When collecting the medication after the first series was finished, I was surprised to see that the printout of the repeat prescription and the box contained 20 mg twice a day, made by Getsewoud. When reading the package leaflet it turned out that this was absolutely not allowed since the chance of bleeding would then be very high. Fortunately my husband swallowed the pills in the manner prescribed by the doctor and not in the pharmacy. The pharmacist's assistant checked it and had to admit - with a thousand apologies - that a major mistake had been made by those who should never have happened. I had already noticed that - as in e.g. the Spaarne Hospital - after taking the medication, a second person with thorough medical knowledge does not check whether everything is correct. Fortunately, nothing has happened due to a healthy dose of suspicion, but this may give others the idea of ​​properly checking the medicines they receive.
