Amazing place to visit and spend time.

If you want to take a nice walk, a walk on the walls of Middelburg is nice. There are many informative signs along the walk. You can start and end anywhere. Just follow the hiking trail. A lot of fun to do. You will also pass an old Jewish cemetery.

I love this old town. Nice for shopping, eating and snacking ... Great. I am always happy to come by ... Recommended

This year we went on holiday to Zeeland for the first time. We enjoyed there. In Middelburg with the Lange Jan and a lively large market on Thursdays. But also the charming coastal towns. Wonderful cycling on Walcheren. Worth repeating.

My parents already came. And their parents, and theirs ... The word 'market' is therefore synonymous with 'the Market of Middelburg'. And with that the authentic atmosphere, partly due to the beautiful entourage with, among other things, the old town hall. Although a market stands or falls with what is offered. And that is perfectly fine with those dozens of stalls, from fruit and vegetables to cheese and clothing to stockings and haberdashery. In short: great, this market!
