A very nice piece of forest just outside Breukelen. This forest has winding winding paths interspersed with straight view lanes. There are also stinsenplanten like dark cranesbill, snowdrop, wild hyacinth and winter aconite. On the west side of Rijksstraatweg is the so-called 'transfer', with a completely different character. This part is open to the public. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash In the center are open, flowery meadows with ditches. The grasslands are enclosed by upright forest and (ash) coppice. Many (breeding) birds such as robin, wren, fitis, buzzard, tree falcon and kingfisher are found on Over-Holland.
