Hilverbeek can be a starting point for visiting the forest/buitenplaatsen. From Hilverbeek one can walk easily to the old farmhouse Stofbergen that dates back to 1636 and some trees next to the farmhouse that date back to 1730. Hilverbeek itself is not that large, but it is well connected (or connected by just crossing one road) to Bantam/Schaep en Burgh, the area Jagtlust, Gooilust, Corversbos, beeldentuin de zanderij etc. All area's with it's own characteristics. Walking all of them is quite a distance but they are all in a way more or less connected. Parking at Hilverbeek is limited but usually available. More parking is available a couple of hundreds of metres further at Brambergen. It's possible to walk from Hilverbeek via the doodweg (in between large villa's) to the hei (heathland) and from there on to Laren.

Nice area for a nice walk, a forest with many old trees. Beautiful old country house and old farm. Dustbergen from 1636, (see the photo)

Beautiful park, where two worlds come together. The wooded high part and the watery polder landscape.

Nice hiking spot. With a vineyard of the organic garden across the street 'Land en Boschzigt'. Which is also worth a visit!

Nice forest for a walk, not crowded on a nice sunny Friday morning.
