At the end of the sixties, beginning of the seventies with a holiday by bike with my brother-in-law from the hague via Nijmegen, Eindhoven to Venlo camping the lower mill, with camping manager Gerard sik and girlfriend Leentje and dog freg, had a good time, on the day in the swimming pool , and evening to the city parade,, bars and night work at the auction 😎

The lower mill is in a beautiful area for walking, but is not a destination in itself. It is a building where you have no access. A long time ago there was a natural bath of the same name in this area.

Watermill The Lower Mill is one of the four Venlo mills that are still intact (the other mills are the Panhuis Mill, the High Mill and the Water Meule). Currently, the area houses homes, previously there was a campsite with a beach pool on the Lower Molenplas until 1993.
