This insurance office (Smits and Wouters) is exactly what you don't want at an insurance office! I have been with this party for years and it often went very smoothly. I cannot name all the annoying experiences because there are too many of them, but the most important I will mention below for argumentation. LACK OF NO COMMUNICATION: The only thing I received from Smits and Wouters were accounts and 'changes' without any explanation or argumentation. This is not the only thing. I will give two examples. At one point, my insurance policy had been tacitly transferred to another party because of a partnership or bankruptcy or the like. This was firstly not told (bizarre because new policy and conditions etc !, so I suddenly had to put an alarm in my motorcycle that I knew nothing about and so I was tacitly not insured for theft!) And secondly this was not even communicated to the RDW, so I was uninsured for a while and had to pay a fine of almost 400 euros. After a lot of email and several letters to the CJIB, I was proven right and got the amount back as it wasn't my fault. This took a long time. I would have been much better off taking it directly with the insurer because then I would have been cheaper and I would just be kept informed. At one point I was completely done with this party and arranged something else. It was not self-evident that my claim-free years were transferred. Of course I had to go back here. BOT WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS: It often takes too long to ask questions and people become downright blunt and insulting. The latter is the reason that I write an extensive review because I really do not think this is possible. In my case they did not answer the question but changed the subject to something else. Not a problem in itself but when I asked the question again she wanted to end the conversation and I was offended grossly. This means that it is of little use to Smits and Wouters because the idea of ​​an insurance company is that they help you with any ambiguities, I think. I will certainly not be the fastest with understanding policy conditions etc. because I have little experience with it, but responding insultingly if you ask something specific or do not immediately understand it is extremely unprofessional. This was both before and after the goofy with the tacit change of insurance company. All in all it comes across as a party that wants to make money from you quickly and easily. As soon as they have to do something or when you need them for something, they do not feel like it and they do not put any effort into it, so insulting. Bizarre!
