We were looking for a place to eat our sandwich before cycling on to Keienborgh. We chose 'de Klevenhorst' as a starting point via Google Maps. We were received very friendly by the owner and spontaneously received a short explanation of what happened on and around 'de Klevenhorst'. The owners first owned a dairy farm, but stopped doing so. Since then, the stable has been used as a workshop, where mister makes beautiful wood sculptures and transforms old trees into furniture. These are sold on the part. Just looking was also no problem. On the part was also the possibility to provide yourself with cold / hot drinks, ice creams or pastries by self-service (pins or cash). We were quite under the pressure of Aaron, the Shire with whom they do tours. A huge (1.85 height at the withers) friendly giant. The two miniature horses, Amber and Anouk, were also friendly in character. All in all a very nice resting place where you are not obliged to buy anything.

For a resting point during a walk or bike ride. Picture carvings to see and well worth it.
