Good doctors

Gezondheids Centrum Parkwijk contains a physio therapy practice, a pharmacy and a family doctors practice. The pharmacy offers a wide variety of excellent service and the physio practice has therapists who are specialised in several methods and treatments and do a good job . The doctors practice however has 7 family doctors and you are allowed to choose your own doctor. They are very nice but most of the time you have to wait a few days for your appointment sometimes even longer if you want your own doctor. When you are making an appointment it is necessary, even if it is not an emergency. You want to talk to your doctor before going to hospital. Instead I am quicker talking to a specialist. I was not used to such a situation before I moved to Almere the doctors practice where I came from,had two doctors and when you wanted to make an appointment the same day they make room the same day even if its not an emergency . Unless you say it can wait until the next day.

I went to get an injection with a client with disabilities. We had to register downstairs. The front desk employee told me she should go upstairs alone, I tell her, but she has a disability, I don't know if she can go up alone or she knows the way. No you can't go upstairs with her. Folks I know we are in a tough time, but I think there should be certain groups to consider. E.g. people with disabilities 😔
