Warning! I would like to warn everyone who has to deal with Jochum Wouda. You should assume in a situation of the death of a loved one, that the first contact (which is the message) shows compassion and understanding, especially at this time when you are dealing with the corona rules. The person I talked to was so busy telling what was and was not allowed. We had already thought about certain things and I indicated that we had devised a way to conduct a condolence at home in a Corona safe way. I was immediately cut off, this was not allowed and was our own responsibility if we went through with this ... then no one would come ...... Who is HE to say that to me at such a time. I thought it was a bad conversation, I also think it is not appropriate to discuss the rules of Corona at the first phone call, that is the job of the person who comes to your house and goes through things with you. We discussed this with the funeral director Henk who came to our home and filed a complaint Henk took this seriously and went to find out who had accepted this first call. He joined his manager from Jochum Wouda ... (unbelievable). My mother passed away on March 19th and I have not heard anything from Jochum until now, I am deeply sad that people like this work in the funeral industry.

Very nice funeral director, the manager had talked to mr. Wouda herself. Very fond of the family and tried to arrange what he could (especially in these times not very easy). Neat explanation and mega month. Process went well and sufficient communication, heart for the matter and even thought along with the children. They received a booklet explaining in jip and janneke what was going on and why grandma is now sleeping forever. Hope talked and also offered a listening ear, something I did not expect but very happy with it and gave a huge relief and familiar and safe feeling. Couldn't have wished for better, thank you for the nice goodbye you gave us. Thankful forever!
