Yarden Crematorium Groningen

This was such a surprisingly moving place to stumble upon. We saw the benches and tributes from the opposite side of the creek as we were riding toward the countryside. We stopped in on the way back to find a beautiful sculpture on the main lawn. Then following along, we came to these open cubbyholes which had urns and mementos of the deceased. It seemed so strange and vulnerable to us as Los Angelenos. I found it so incredibly intimate. You felt as if entire families visited for an afternoon with the Grandparents. The was even a poster for an afternoon of smiles, a community event. Everything was well maintained and lovely. And the seashell chips which lined the creek paths added to the sense of timelessness.

It is shameful to clear the scattered field for children, and to remove all the cuddly toys, notes, drawings, figurines, etc., that the parents have placed so lovingly. Now only prickers can be placed. The new manager is very disrespectful. Let the parents decide for themselves what they want to put with their child.

Was well looked after and a nice goodbye is not a good name for this place but four stars

Was well cared for and great for each other. No, there is currently a lot of renovation work in the area and it was difficult to get there. Furthermore, everything is great for each other!

It is time for a renovation / extension. There was not enough room in auditorium 1 during the ceremony. The entrance hall was also completely full. Nothing was given of the ceremony because it could not be heard in the entrance hall. Older people left before and during the ceremony.
