Marjan Marsman was the best hypotheekadviseur that we could have dreamed of. We are RUG employees and our employer could not give us the standard documents (intention statement) needed for a mortgage. Marjan was extremely transparent with us about the possible scenarios and used her extensive experience and knowledge to find the best possibilities for us. She was extremely proactive and communicated with us clearly and continuously throughout this process. This open communication line was very important to us, because we had limited time to ensure that we could get the house, and so we were under quite a lot of stress. Knowing what was happening at each point was very reassuring. A big plus, Marjan is so much fun! We are very happy that we met her. Also, Daleman and De Jong are also helping us with home/life/car insurance, and will help us with the taxes related to the house, etc. It is great to arrange for all of this in the same place, and everyone has been very kind!

Buying our first home - and in a country where neither my husband nor I am from - was daunting, but Anton took the time to explain everything. He helped us understand what we could afford before we made an offer on a house, and he helped us find the right lender. He presented us with several options and helped us think through each of them so we could decide what was best. We had used Anton previously to prepare our taxes, so we knew we could trust him. I would highly recommend him.

In India we say that the process of buying a house is similar to a wedding. Probably, it has to do with the expenses, time, chaotic, uncertain and unfamiliar path required to achieve them. Let me stick to the experience of buying the house which is more refreshing then wedding! Marjan Marsman was our contact in Daleman and de Jong who handled our request to assist us in buying a house. She was not only funny but also very reliable, communicative, honest and knowledgeable advisor. She cleared all the "bears during the process" (her favourite quote) and helped us to buy a house. I hope more amateurs like me will be advised by Daleman and de Jong to take good decisions while buying a house. I appreciate their time management, transparent and well structured flow of information. They certainly made it look lot less time consuming and chaotic to buy a house compared with wedding!!
