Leiden City Hall

A lovely building based of the original design from the 17th century. This building was burned down twice. The tower is the most famous part since it was used to play melodies with the bells through the century. Today, it still plays melodic tunes between 11:30 and 12:30

Very incompetent, their website is discriminating against an increasing expat and exchange/visiting students by having all forms in Dutch (Rarely any english; it lacks german and french translation) The google translate brings more confusion and potential mistakes. Also, no clear explanation for what you need to do, no account to pay taxes/fees in. Long waiting times. 13 offices, 4 of which were occupied at the peak hour???? One month for a simple BSN or registration, also one month to register my departure. No neighborhood town halls (go figure, "digitalized and developed country"), confused workers.

I need to register for my new address

Over past years as a resident of Leiden I have merely experienced this place as terribly slow and inefficient. Please improve your administration.
