Trattoria Italiana City Hall

We had a very nice Italian meal at this place in Leiden on a rainy Saturday. We had their fried calamari with our drinks. It was suitably crunchy and was served with an excellent dip. Our pasta courses were innovative and tasty. The best bit was the salami pizza. Super fresh and absolutely delicious! We can highly recommend this place.

Nice restaurant. Drinks were pleasant, desserts were overall good. Only issue was that the tiramisu was dry and not the most flavorful. Everything else around us that people were having looked nice though! Would recommend visiting this spot.

Good risotto! Middle of the centre, near the canal. Very good place to meet up and good location to walk around (city hall, bridges, Burcht etc.) for some cultural exploring. In/under City Hall of Leiden. Has a terrace as well. Have been there before but for a wedding reception a long time ago. Cozy restaurant but has something formal too.

Very delicious italian food. You will be to bring some time with you but is is definitely worth it. Also this is not a bad thing, you won't feel stressed. We really enjoyed our diner

Food is very tasty, not the best Italian in town but definitely good. The service is absolutely terrible. When you come in, you get ignored completely until someone shouts it's find your own table. Then you have to wait and actually asks to clean the table. Sparkling water was served without glasses. They bring stuff without taking empty stuff so table fills up very quickly. There was one waitress kind of knowing what she was doing, the others had clearly no experience or training at all. Train your staff and I will give 5 stars but with the current level of service, no more then 3... (After a very friendly and nice response I raised it to 4 stars, we gonna try them soon again to see if the service has been improved)
