Knijn Bowling en Restaurant

Knijn the bowling alley, it hasn't changed since it's been around. As with every bowling lane, expect loud noises a bit of an odd sweaty/old shoe smell, and deep fried food. During the evening accompanied with the occassional glass of spilled beer. It's good entertainment if you want to, for us an hour was more than enough. My colleagues were pleasantly surprised to discover the wine actually came from the restaurant and was therefore of decent quality, and the price for food and drink is pretty decent. However, the computer froze during the last minutes of the game and the 'gate' to the pins didn't go up either, which didn't allow the last two people of our group to finish the game. It's understandable that the bowling alley wants to have as many timeslots as possible in a day, giving more people the opportunity to play. But they are very, very tightly planned. Meaning we arrived as the other group was still packing their stuff, and the next group was anxiously waiting for us to leave. Resetting time of the computer is done during the game still going on. It's a bit of a bummer. However, if you're not too competitive and just in for a bit of fun to kill, Knijn is perfect for that.

We were there to celebrate a 7- year old birthday. We lost 10 minutes of bowling due to a computer malfunction. Then the table for the food wasn't set, the food we got at first was wrong and it took them a really long time to bring lemonade for the kids. Never again!!

Cool place for having drinks and fun, very comfy and nice staff. Highly recommended
