A good place to stop for lunch during Naardenmeer hike

Unexpectedly bumped into this nice little place for a break during my skating tour. Unfortunately the diner around the corner couldn't serve me a tuna sandwich because it was after 16:00, since it was 16:05. Very lovely employees tho.

Closed for now. Worthy area to ride your bike past. A sign at a fenced off area says something (in Dutch) about rising from the ashes, like the Phoenix. A path to the right takes you a bit closer to the fort, across a moat. A fellow told me this fort was the easternmost of the 39 forts in the defense ring around Amsterdam started in 1890.
