Loenense waterval

You get what you see - A flight of stairs with a tiny amount of water trickling over them. Nothing more. This man made "waterfall" is not worth the pomp and ceremony built up around it. Children seemed to enjoy stomping their feet in the water, so that is great. The "waterfall" is really just a children's playground, nothing more. For adults, the juice is not worth the squeeze. You would rather go hiking in the Veluwe forest instead. P.S., visitors are not allowed to go to the waterfall after sunset (but there is no gate so technically, you can go there anytime).

Nice piece of forest for cycling and walking. For children certainly nice to run there. Watch out for retarded cyclists / mountain bikers that they do not run your child over! Waterfalls are not far from the parking lot. Very nice to see the waterfalls .. not very special but certainly in summer, with nice warm weather, you can cool off. Next to the waterfalls there is a picnic area and place to park your bicycle. Recommended to take a look!

De Loenense waterval ligt op dit moment droog. Vanaf 15 maart stroomt er weer water ... Laat onverlet dat het een onderdeel is van een leuke wandelroute in een mooie omgeving. Op vrijdag en zaterdag op dit moment ivm Covid het theehuis op 600 meter afstand bereikbaar voor afhaal.

Enough parking spaces, large walking area, you can keep enough distance. Nice mountains to climb with children. Also a kind of playground or picnic area. The waterfall has a nice height, unfortunately not much water came through. Nice getaway.
