My bike chain came of just near this shop. It has a sturdy chain casing around it, making it real tricky for myself to fix in the road. I went in and the tall redhead proceeded to fix my chain for no cost. Very pleased about his kindness, thank you! Also the shop looks real good and clean with awesome bikes, old Lp's and a chill out corner.

Meanwhile brought my road bike to many different bike shops / makers for maintenance, so a lot of comparison material. I brought my road bike here for servicing, where at least also chain and cassette had to be replaced. Firstly, Raas Bikes is very expensive: new parts through them are expensive, and service is expensive. After the service, which of course also included adjusting the front and rear derailleur, I found that a crazy rattle had entered my rear derailleur and the gear shifting did not feel right. Returned to 2x, but I was told it couldn't be better adjusted. Because I did not trust it, I eventually went to another bicycle shop; who concluded that the adjustment was completely wrong for the front and rear derailleur; even dangerous, because if I had geared up completely at the back my chain would have flown off the cassette and jammed between cassette and frame .. eventually the other bicycle mechanic adjusted my road bike perfectly in 10 minutes. He ended with, "This is now the difference between a bicycle salesman and a bicycle repair shop." And that is how it feels .. I will definitely not come back here ..

Always welcome for advice or questions. After a bicycle accident with an old bicycle, where the shifters could unfortunately no longer be ordered, the bicycle was allowed to stay here until an external insurance specialist came by to record the damage. Not having to be present yourself and Raas arranged this neatly with the specialist. Also for very simple jobs, but in the absence of tools at home (missing link tool for the chain), always welcome and immediately (sometimes even free) arranged. Nice and knowledgeable guys there.

Passed by for straightening front wheel and new handlebar tape. Was told it would cost around € 60. Upon collection I received a bill of € 109 which also included a "bronze" maintenance package. I had not asked for it and was not informed about it. In addition, the handlebar tape was only very poorly applied. Both end pieces come completely under the ribbon and do not connect the ribbon to the top of the handlebar. I made a comparison with how the ribbon for the replacement was attached and with my second bike. For me the last time I visit this store.
